Senior Software Engineer

Steer AI toward the ideal.

In an era where AI drives design and implementation, we need engineers who measure its output against the ideal, spot the gaps, and steer AI correctly — engineers who know both the ideal of software development and the pain of its failures.

Must-haves

  • Know what "ideal" looks like in developing and operating software / web applications.
  • Have personally felt the pain of how certain failures lead to certain consequences.
  • Be able to review the design docs and code AI produces, spot the gap from the ideal, and keep AI under control.

Nice to have

  • Strong at harness engineering.

Conditions

  • Fully remote.
  • Open to side-project / moonlighting participation.
  • Contract-based, hourly pay (primarily a quasi-mandate contract; rate determined by skill).
  • Full-time is negotiable depending on skills.

Research Entrepreneur

Turn deep expertise into a business.

Deep expertise that can produce papers, the vision to turn it into a business, and the passion to build ventures yourself — a new kind of role at the core of Kizuna Intelligence.

Must-haves

  • Have written a genuinely interesting paper and can talk about it in your own words — or have created a patent that others found to be a thorn in their side (a patent competitors can't ignore).
  • Have your own area of expertise, and articulate, in your own words, a path to turn it into a business.
  • A strong passion to make a real impact on society and shape it into a sustainable business.

Nice to have

  • Theoretical knowledge of machine learning.
  • A broad grasp of computer science, with the ability to do precise vibe coding.
  • A broad grasp of research, with the ability to do precise vibe research.
  • Build mechanisms that prevent mistakes in vibe-coding-driven work (specifically, ensuring program correctness and experimental reliability).
